WTO issues compliance ruling regarding Colombian duties on frozen fries

On 23 October, the WTO circulated the compliance panel report in the case brought by the European Union in Colombia – Anti-Dumping Duties on Frozen Fries from Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands (DS591).

DDG Zhang urges deeper digitalization of border crossing procedures to boost LLDC trade
The meeting, chaired by Ambassador Davasuren Gerelmaa of Mongolia, brought together ministers and senior officials from the 32 LLDCs, along with UNCTAD Secretary-General Rebeca Grynspan, Under-Secretary-General Rabab Fatima of the UN Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (UN-OHRLLS), and the heads of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the International Trade Centre (ITC) as well as other development partners.

KAZINI CARAVAN: Using Art and Culture to Drive Trade Awareness Across Africa
On Tuesday 21 October 2025, COMESA Secretariat hosted the Kazini Caravan, a youth-led continental initiative, which promotes inclusive regional integration by using art, culture and innovation as tools for trade awareness and empowerment, with the aim to simplify complex trade policies for youth innovators and women entrepreneurs across Africa’s 55 countries.
